Our team develops and conducts trainings for schools and organisations on a variety of applied psychology knowledge and skills related to identification and support for students with special educational needs. We also offer individual or group supervision or coaching sessions to develop their competencies.

Language & Literacy

Our team is engaged by MOE to provide the following professional development courses for Special Educational Needs Officers (SENOs):

  • Supporting students with deficits in core reading and spelling skills

  • Supporting students with deficits in semantics, syntax and basic comprehension skills

  • Supporting higher order thinking in reading and comprehension.

  • Supporting students with executive function skills deficits

Executive Functioning

Autism

  • Developing social cognition through the use of social stories and circle of friends

  • Supporting executive skills deficits in students with Autism Spectrum Disorder

Assessment Tools

Our team has also been providing training and supervision to new associate psychologists and /or research assistants in MOE in the following assessment tools:

  • Developing competencies in administration and scoring of WIAT 4, Q interactive version

  • Developing competencies in administration and scoring of Raven’s 2 Progressive Matrices, Digital Q global version
