As a young boy, Kai struggled heavily with reading and writing. He also recalls once entering a lift and being unable to discern where the number ‘3’ was when his parents asked him to press for that level. It was not long after that his mother realised he was dyslexic and got him diagnosed. He was also diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) at a later stage in life.

Kai attributes much of his ability in overcoming learning disabilities to the supportive network of family and friends that he had growing up. And now, he hopes that other kids with similar struggles will be able to receive the same. Kai believes that with the right support, any child with special needs will be able to unlock their true potential.
