Ai Lin graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology in 2000. She holds a Graduate Diploma in Educational Psychology awarded by NIE and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) as well as, the Certificate of Competence in Educational Testing (CCET) which is accredited and verified by the British Psychological Society.
Ai Lin was an Associate Psychologist with the Ministry of Education (MOE) Singapore for five years prior to joining Green Pastures Psychological Practice. In the five years with MOE, Ai Lin had independently served a number of schools as their school’s Psychologist, providing consultation to teachers and school leaders, conducted assessments for students with possible learning, behavioural or attention difficulties and had worked with numerous parents, providing advice on how to support their children at home and how to work with the schools to provide a more supportive learning environment for their children.
Ailin is a valued member of Green Pastures since 2016. She has been assisting with administering standardised psychological and academic tests. Ai Lin is experienced and works well with children and adolescents with various difficulties such as dyslexia, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, social communication disorder and anxiety, and is a firm believer that every child learns differently. She also works hand in hand with parents on support and strategies for their children. Ai Lin is also a Cogmed coach.
In her free time, Ai Lin hopes to improve her sense of humour by indulging in animation and light-hearted shows.
